Hello. I have sort of a weird problem. I had some center leather panels of my seats dyed to freshen them up. The guy who did the work went nuts and sprayed SEM on all the vinyl, which was pretty much in perfect condition. I was really bummed and a little angry. I sent the seats back for him to remove the dye from the vinyl. Long story short, he didn’t and now it’s failing. Any advice on the best way to remove the SEM? Thanks.

Ouch, i have used the stuff but never had to take it off. Can't come up with anything that will remove it without harming the vinyl.

It is a really messy operation but we have removed SEMs with fast dry lacquer thinner. You will need a lot of rags and a lot of fast dry lacquer thinner.

Rattle can guys have ruined a lot of interiors that we have to clean afterwards. They are notorious for overspray.

I agree it's usually not a problem but on occasion[…]
