That is just hands on time and not time taken to order materials, design, etc...

They certainly do take time!

I had an easy 40 hours into 2 front buckets and a rear bench seat for a k5 blazer. Most of that time spent templating and sewing the first seat, the second seat was finished in a fraction of the overall time.

I think my biggest time factor is that I work on projects before and after my day job…. I find it always takes longer that way. But until I’m ready to make it a full time job, it it what it is!
