Under the bottom cushion over top the burlap and coil springs is a fabric I can not identify. My neighbor who did upholstery said it was a denim, but not the kind used for clothing. It is a light weight, beige colored fabric. Does anyone know what this is and where it can be bought??

Likely "calico" a cotton canvas used to cover residential (old) upholstery before the top fabric is applied. 8~10oz cotton canvas, unbleached would look "tan." My $0.02.
