I have been unable to fine an automotive loop pile carpet that doesn't have a Latex backing. Do ALL loop pile carpets (automotive) have a Latex backing?

All that I have used so far has a backing. I seems to keep carpet from raveling while checking the fit before adding binding. I did try some non backed and didn't care for it.

Seems the non-latex backed carpet will form over the transmission hump better than the Latex backed carpet. I think most of the cut pile is non backed and will form over the hump better. Guess I can't have both.
