Hello i have a head liner and wind lace made for the car .
Ive asked a few local shops here i install my windlace and then i have to staple the headliner to my tack strips and their is no trim panels to cover the staples the shop said to use hidum to cover them..
Is there something else to use?

There are supposed to be long metal strips, usually about 3 or so on each side of the car, that attach to the roof frame right above the windlace tack strips. i see the screw holes for where they install in your picture. did you remove them or were they missing? Anyway, now you thread the bows into the stays on the headliner and put the headliner in. Then you push the edge of the headliner material behind the teeth of these metal strips. In thus way, you have healiner fabric right up to the side of the windlace...no need for any other trim. Theres videos of this process on YouTube. Look it up.
