Any one here use a seger? I played with one for a few hours yesturday, it was and older juki, it was one fast slick machine.

I use one on some fabrics on chairs. Most of my work is with vinyls. They are pretty neat machines for sure.

At a minimum you would want a model with a knee lift. A real one with a table and servo is where it's at. Used a juki MO 2500 model again today.

Don't have one of my own but i did get to set up a 3 thread for a customer this week. Lot of fun to play with, stupid fast and buttery smooth. Don't have much use for a serger...but i need one :grin:

I bought a 3 thread inexpensive one and it's been good for my needs when working with coarse woven fabric that doesn't have a back coating. I only use it for overcasting edges not for construction which is common for garment sewing.
