Has anyone on here used vinyl for a carpet substitute?

I have a customer with an old hot rod that wants black vinyl instead of carpet. I've looked through all my marine carpet samples and haven't found anything. Just curious what has worked for other or a place to check out.

Obviously has to be durable material so i don't feel like regular seating grade vinyl will work.

Thanks!

We work with vinyl flooring in RVs, but it is not going to conform to a non flat surface very well. If you need the deal with contours you are going to need heat to increase the flexibility of the vinyl.
