Hello everyone,

I am working on a very old wingback and all the cardboard panels have rotted away. I cannot seem to find cardboard sheets that are thin enough to bend around the arms but firm enough to offer padding support. I am in NC and any help would be greatly appreciated.

This stuff wouldn't be the same as what the chair had originally, but I have used it for similar things. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Ram-Board-3 ... /202823781. Most lumbar yards have this product or something close to it. It is relatively thin but you could do one layer to get the shape you need, and then use glue to bond additional layers to get the support you need.
