Cool Bondo! I have just started on a set of seats that I am going to use Naugahyde for too. I was looking at that Transporters Velour as well. Those curtains and Dog house will be good places to start your project and good practice before getting to the other stuff.

Every seat I have taken apart that is factory old or newer had at least 1/4" of foam adhered to it. I have vinyl and 1/2" scrim for my inserts. If I were using the original pattern this seat would not fit the same with just the thin vinyl. What does a guy do in a case like this?

I have some velour type fabric that I was thinking of using for seat inserts, is this a good idea or not? I have plenty of vinyl I can use for these year 2000 truck seats.

Very good suggestion John. Eventually your start up shop is going to grow past just yourself and a $60 shop rate per hour is not going to leave your auto trimmer with much of an hourly pay once overheads and taxes are factored into that.
